My Bio
I am not talented in any way whatsoever, but I admire those who have the ability to create awesomeness from nothing but their imaginations.
On occasion, I take photos, but I'm far from good. I've taken a few shots I'm proud of, but I am constantly trying to improve the quality and "art" of my photos.
Constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
I currently shoot a Nikon Coolpix P90, but I would like to eventually work up to a Nikon with interchangeable glass.
My favorite subjects are my children.

Favourite Movies
Ever After, Pan's Labyrinth, Princess Bride, 28 Days Later, Strangers on a Train
Favourite TV Shows
The Walking Dead, Bones, American Horror Story, Grimm, Fringe
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Joshua Radin, Two Steps From Hell, Josh Groban, Metallica, Amy Lee
Favourite Books
Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas
Favourite Writers

I dont play (GASP! Say it aint so! lol)

My children, ROLLER COASTERS!, my cats, and my ever growing shotglass collection (that I am in the process of building a new display cabinet for).

Thank you for the :+fav:
Thank you for the fav! :) Welcome to dA!
My son browses dA for inspiration, but Ive never thought of myself as an artist. Im more of a facts and logic type person. Ive always admired people with talent and branching out into photography is incredibly intimidating. I find myself very critical of my own work, always trying to make my pictures "rational" instead of telling a story. Really stepping out of my comfort zone.
Thank you for your critique.
Hi Dear.
First - YOU ARE AN ARTIST - you just didn't yet find the way to express it and you will if you try. That you are not professional it's better, professionals have to do what their masters want, you don't, you do what YOU want.
Second - don't allow yourself to be intimidated by other's people work, do what you feel. If you have a negative critique the better it means that the bastard was impressed and envies you. Be yourself, by being an amateur you can afford it, professionals can't. Piss off negative critiques.
Third - STOP BE RATIONAL, BE YOURSELF GET OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE!
Good luck - I hope it helps.
